The history of astusi.org

I'd like to tell you that 'astusi' means something clever and intelligent.  It was supposed to mean 'clever' or 'cunning'.
The Latin for cunning is 'astus'.  I was keen to make this pleural and decided to add an 'i' to the end.  This of course would have made it plural if the root were infact 'astus', but the root of cunning is 'ast'.  The irony is not lost on me.  In my attempts to be clever by giving a website the name 'cunning' in Latin, I have succeded in naming this website something which means absolutely nothing in English, French, German, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Korean, Japanese or Chinese - an impressively stupid accomplishment.  Despite this, I have decided to keep the domain.  It seems somehow appropriate that the name should be erroneous in a site dedicated to the human condition.  After all with the huge range in opinions, religious belief and preference in beer, some of the people can be right all of the time, and all of the people can be right some of the time, but all the people can't be right all of the time.
